This past Saturday was fire. Thank you to all of the amazing Colorado Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Athletes that competed at the 2025 NAGA Denver II Tournament held at the Apex Fieldhouse, located in Arvada, Colorado. While there were some logistical challenges, including a last-minute venue change, the CBJJS team came out ready and willing to compete. Brilliant!
For many of the CBJJS competitors, NAGA Denver was their first ever competition Jiu Jitsu experience, and the CBJJS athletes did not disappoint. Gold, Silver and Bronze medals were earned as a result of their first ever Jiu Jitsu tournament efforts, and each athlete was able to experience the heightened intensity of competition Jiu Jitsu and the tournament setting. It takes immense courage and tenacity to participate in a Jiu Jitsu tournament, and each CBJJS athlete that competed at NAGA Denver, and put their Jiu Jitsu on public display, demonstrated enormous courage and skill. You folks rock. Way to go CBJJS Athletes! Way to go Colorado Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Satori!
