On May 16, 2021, Professor “Doomsday” Don Westman won Gold at the 2021 IBJJF Pan Jiu Jitsu No-Gi Championship, making Big Don the first Colorado Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Satori athlete to win Gold at the rank of Black Belt (Masters) at an IBJJF Pans event (no small accomplishment, as the IBJJF Pans events are the biggest and most prestigious International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu championship tournaments behind only the IBJJF Worlds events)! They say “Lead from the front.” Mission accomplished! Brilliant work Professor Don.

Now the race is on to be the first Colorado Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Satori athlete to win Gold at the rank of Black Belt at IBJJF Worlds: Let’s Go!

Big Don was not the only Colorado Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Satori Traveling Combat Crew athlete to make the Podium down in Dallas at the 2021 IBJJF Pan Jiu Jitsu No-Gi Championship: “Rampage” Stephanie Taylor earned Silver in the Purple Belt Absolute Division, as did her teammate Ronald Robin! Way to go Steph! Way to go Ronald! Way to go CBJJS Traveling Combat Crew! Outstanding!
