After an amazing performance at NAGA Denver, winning Double Gold – Gold in the Gi and Gold No-Gi – and having just turned 16 (happy sweet sixteen Rebekah), Rebekah Nguyen was promoted to the rank of Blue Belt, up at Colorado Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Satori, on February 26, 2024. Way to go Rebekah! If Rebekah’s recent competition success – She won Gold in the adult division at the World Series Of Jiu Jitsu Denver Submission Only Tournament with a rear naked choke in overtime and Double Gold at NAGA Denver – is any indication, Blue Belt ladies competing will have a new and significant challenge going forward.
