Colorado Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Stapleton’s Traveling Combat Crew hit the road again and competed in not one, but two prestigious grappling promotions, in two different states, on Saturday, March 24, 2018, and the results were outstanding!

Tanner Gott, our #dangerroomdrillsquadcaptain, earned the No-Gi Expert Division Championship Belt at NAGA Salt Lake City 2018, after securing a number of slick submission wins (including a calf slicer from truck and a go-go plata)! Since beginning, just about a year ago, to teach BJJ Stapleton’s Danger Room class, regularly held on Fridays at noon, Tanner’s excellent Jiu Jitsu, put simply, has gotten even better, and he now has the competition results to prove it. Way to go Tanner! Brilliant!!

Ronald Robin also joined the ranks of BJJ Stapleton’s Traveling Combat Crew by jumping on a plane and heading to New York City to compete in the Grappling Industries Manhattan 2018 BJJ And No-Gi Round Robin Tournament. It was Ronald’s first time competing on the road and he managed to take Silver (losing not by points, but by referee decision after a hard fought 0-0 championship match). Way to go Ronald! Proud of your success!!
