On November 20, 2017, Cody Lewis earned his Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu up at Colorado Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Stapleton. Outstanding job Cody! Cody was awarded the his BJJ Stapleton Blue Belt after an amazing performance at the 2017 Fight To Win Nationals, held in Denver, Colorado, at the National Western Complex, on November 18, 2017. Cody not only medaled in one of the largest No-Gi brackets at the tournament, but he submitted an opponent using the “Bunny Choke,” making him only the second BJJ Stapleton athlete to submit an opponent using the Bunny Choke in competition (the only other being the choke’s creator, Vance “The Bunny” Barksdale)! Brilliant Cody! Congratulations sir! Blue Belt earned!
