On November 3, 2020, Shane Abbott was awarded his Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu up at Colorado Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Satori. Congratulations Shane! Outstanding! Earning a CBJJS Purple Belt is no easy task. It requires a good dose of hard training and an ambition to be better today than you were the day before, not in the short term, but with consistency and persistence over an extended period of time, even in the face of setbacks and adversity, which are inevitable. Shane has achieved Purple Belt by demonstrating undeniable skill forged in daily training with tough training partners, all with a smile and good-heartedness that make Shane a joy to have on the mat. Brilliant!
