What a day for the Colorado Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Satori Traveling Competition Crew at the 2024 International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation Pan Jiu Jitsu Championship! Steve Haddock led the way, choking his first opponent unconscious with a brilliant baseball bat choke – when his opponent woke up he said “But I didn’t tap.” Steve won Silver after a referee’s decision at the close of a hard fought final where Steve threatened a magic set up armbar, an Americana, a front cross choke, and a triangle! Way to go Steve! Khem Kefaab MenNefer Shepsutera put in great work as well, as did Dr. Bianca Greenwood, both of whom competed at an IBJJF tourney for the first time ever. Way to go Khem! Way to go Dr. B! Way to go CBJJS!
